"Changes" is a visually striking and emotionally resonant journey centred on a theme of personal growth, self realisation and forging of identity, along contemporary challenges of immigration and conflict between nature and technology.

The story follows an unnamed protagonist who awakens in a tranquil, Eden-like world. As he explores this paradise, he encounters a mysterious portal hidden deep within the lush forest. Initially barred from entry by a protective mother nature, curiosity eventually overcomes the obstacles and transports him into a new and radically different world - a barren place, but illuminated by abstract ideas springing from a distant source.
Driven to interact with that source, he experiences ecstasy that is quickly turned to panic when the blessings of the new world take a bitter twist towards assimilation, replacing his arm with a cyberpunk limb. Panicked and traumatised, he seeks solace back in paradise, but to no avail - he is now changed, and only spreads out that disease-like transformation, rejected and exiled by mother nature.
Forced into a prophetic trek across deserts and mountains towards a hopeful new home, he encounters peril and pain. Pushed into utilising his full potential, he gradually sheds his previous body, amalgam of the primal and cybernetic, towards a harmony of the two, becoming human. 
At the peak of the mountain, his transformation almost complete, a terrible discovery reveals that the promised land ahead is just a mirage. Moving from grief to acceptance, he thrusts into the unknown, desperate but confident in his new found self. 
Pushing through the darkness, he’s ultimately successful getting through, and finally rewarded with the promised land spreading out before him - a new city, symbolically merging elements of his former home and the abstract world, inhabited by his peers and undertaking a grand project of their own.
